Synthetic fabrics may look good and feel sleek, but they come with hidden costs — for both the planet and the person wearing them.
Our initial line — Roka — is a layering system of all-day activewear for men. It includes a long and short sleeved tee, a hoodie, shorts and pants, and will be available in a variety of distinct plant-dyed colors.
These are the clothes you can lounge in and move in, the ones that transition easily from a day at home to running errands to your favorite physical activity. They are versatile, comfortable, and hold up over time.
While other companies currently produce natural activewear, they rely on synthetic colors, finishes and features. Not Ormega — we’re committed to no plastics, no petrochemicals, and no compromises.
Our activewear is crafted from naturally-sourced materials like TENCEL™, merino wool and hemp for sustainable comfort, breathability, and performance, and plant-dyed to avoid synthetic finishes.
Though TENCEL™ undergoes a man-made production process, it starts as sustainably-grown wood and is transformed using a clean, closed-loop system using naturally-derived chemicals. The result is a completely biodegradable, compostable fiber.
Traditional activewear is created from petroleum-based fibers, synthetic dyes, and toxic chemical finishes. As you wear, move and sweat in the clothes, chemicals and micro-plastics can be absorbed in the skin and inhaled, increasing health risks for the person wearing them. Not only that, synthetic fabrics aren't biodegradable, ultimately going on to pollute waterways and clog landfills.
It should feel better! Ormega’s all-day activewear is crafted from soft TENCEL™ and superfine wool blends for performance and breathability. The result is fabric that feels smooth against your skin, keeps you dry, and doesn’t itch.
You may also notice features that differ from your usual activewear — for example, we’ve eliminated zippers, velcro, artificial elastic, and poly-core thread (all use plastic components) in favor of design solutions that avoid failure points and keep your gear natural.

Born from ancient wisdom
Since the dawn of time, human beings have harnessed the power of natural materials and plant dyes to create comfortable, durable, and colorful clothing. Ormega is innovating using these tried-and-true techniques for all-day activewear that leaves synthetic gear in the dust.
Inspired by Peru's Nazca lines, Ormega is a stylized version of “hormiga” — “ant” in Spanish. Their pound-for-pound strength and collective ingenuity guides us in this great challenge.
